Reflection: Critical Thinking & Problem Solving

Business Fundamentals allows you to have the opportunity to run your own cafe business through the simulation from BizCafe. This simulation allowed me to be able to experience what is it like to run a business, the issues within the business, and how to solve them. My group had many issues trying to find the correct amount of employees, the right amount of coffee purchases, and we had to critically think about some decisions we were given the from the special decisions part. My group ended up in 3rd place, which was pretty good because it was just 2 people in my group and we made to make all the decisions by ourselves. This whole experience from BizCafe helped me grow as a person because it gave me the opportunity to experience this situation and it made me realize that I might actually enjoy running a business in the future or even just being high up in a business. It taught be how to be responsible for locking in the decisions every week and it also taught me how competitive the business world can be when it comes to being the top.
