Assessment Reflection
As a Type 3 Learner, The best way I learn is from when someone can take me through learning step by step and teach me how it works. It can range from how to put a desk together to even how to make spaghetti. This way of learning helps me because I can memorize more by taking things step by step. For example, while working at McDonalds, the first few days of the job was training, and this means that there must be someone to train you on how to use the equipment. They also must teach you how to make the burgers step by step with the proper safety rules. A few months into the job, I knew how to make all the burgers and how to use the equipment safely. If this were a different situation, I would be able to learn this way again and I wouldn’t approach it in a different way because this is how I learn best. While going through this process, I was able to learn more about myself in the sense that I work better in a team and not alone. This will help me in the future because in business, you can’t do everything on your own and you must rely on others to help you. This skill I have been given will guide me to be my best self.

An artifact that represents my personal learning philosophy is a rubix cube because there are so many ways to solve one and you must test out all the possibilities to find the fastest method to solve it. It is a hands-on experience and you must ask others, “how does this work?” because of the many algorithms and ways to solve the cube. People must perceive information actively and be able to abstract it to complete the cube. Also, another reason to why a rubix cube represents my personal learning style is because rubix cubes are hard to solve and can be very puzzling. Without the proper guidance of the user, I will be forever unfinished, but if they have the knowledge to solve the cube, it is as if they are able to teach me in the way I need.
