Looking back on my journey at Sheridan College, I am filled with pride and accomplishment as I've grown both personally and professionally. I have developed valuable skills and gained practical experience that has prepared me for a successful career in marketing.
One of the key areas of growth for me has been my ability to think critically and solve complex problems. An example of this was at my internship where I had to help develop a marketing campaign for a new product they were launching. This required me to gather leads, create designs, develop an email template, and post the upcoming launch on social media. This artifact showcases my ability to apply classroom knowledge to real-world situations and deliver tangible results.
Another key area of growth is my teamwork skills. From working on group projects to completing an internship, I have learned the importance of effective communication, adaptability, and feedback. An artifact that represents this growth would be a music note because each note makes a sound, but together it can make a song. This idea reflects that each member of a team can work alone, but you must cohesively work together or else it's just a bunch of noise.
